How can publication design be used to celebrate a private museum collection?

This project comprises three publications which were designed to showcase the pathology collection at the Gordon Museum. At this collection is closed to the general public, the challenge was to encapsulate the large and varied collection in this series of publications.
The handmade perspex slipcase is made from frosted acrylic. It features icons laser etched onto the spine of the case, which relate to the content inside. The publications feature different bindings; a foldout binding with popups, a french fold, and a singer sewn publication. Each publication relates to a different part of the collection and use colours and materials found in medical and pharmaceutical applications. The Project-centered exploration and analysis, and the Project realisation and report publications use the same format but different materials and colours depending on the concepts I was exploring at the time of the publication.
